Ao5 Gallery: what do users think?

Kelly Scalpati: This is the coolest art gallery I've been to, and I've seen quite a few. Wish I had more time to see everything! I'll be back soon

Anna Glasgow: I stumbled upon this place and was so happy I did. The art is beautiful and it looked like you could purchase a frame here too if you buy art. There’s a diverse collection here and a nice gift shop area. The art ranges in prices and sizes.

Bradley Dupuy: Best art gallery in Texas, hands down!

Diane Battaglia: Space is decorated well! Exceptionally accessible for any person and is a wonderful experience to walk around and see art.

Shirl Cole: This place is wonderful! A great mix of up n coming artiists alongside Veterans of the Art world landscape! Marvel, Dr. Seuss and Disney are just some of the exhibits displayed over the years. You won't regret stopping by there!!

Amy Belflower: I fell in love with a painting here about a year ago and had stopped in a few times to look at it. About a month ago we went back to see if they still had it, and finally purchase it, only to find out it had sold that morning! It’s a limited edition giclee print so I figured my chance to have it was gone. The Gallery director, Todd, contacted the artist for me, who responded almost immediately, and Todd was able to order it for me. It came home today- I absolutely love everything about it.If you’re ever looking to purchase art, or even just like looking at art, I highly recommend Ao5. Todd went above and beyond to find me the painting and he is super personable and friendly. Everyone there is super nice and gives amazing customer service! They have rotating artists on display as well so often you get to see new art.

Bryan McVicker: Don't art gallery too often but the art selection and staff at Ao5 are super cool. Daughter's minoring in Art and she loved it.

jk Tavasoli: Beautiful art.

Carl Battles: Todd, Gallery Director, is an artistic genius and very professional and personable. The gallery is welcoming and approachable- Check out the beautiful paintings by Bernie Coleman!!

Michael Conner: Very cool art. Todd knows the artist and the story behind the art. Todd has a frame shop on location. This weekend, they are having a big showing.

Jessica Chong: Beautiful gallery and very friendly staff. I love their prints and variety of art.

Audrey Yager: Wish I would've had more time to meander and buy things, but this was a phenomenal gallery experience. The space was quite large with dense but not overwhelming sections of varying works. Lots of range in cost of pieces, you could easily come and fill your home with art big and small of all textures and genres on a spectrum of budgets. The curator/owner was marvelous to speak with and knew their artists very well. The lighting was very pleasant and complimented the pieces well. The air conditioning was pumping and the music was enjoyable and noticeable, but balanced throughout the space. I found the volume just right not to be distracted or to talk over it for conversation. Well done!

Karen Laine: Love the creativity of the framing staff and the fun vibe! So much better than the ‘big box’ framers, especially for your cherished collections.

Will Dillard: Haven t been but looking to go.

Linda Duffy: I thoroughly enjoy visiting this gallery and experiencing the artwork of so many wonderful artists! Always a great Playlist too!

Suzanne Short: Gorgeous gallery!

grayDUCK Gallery: what do users think?

Nunia Busines: The space is rather loud on opening nights so I would like if there were postings around the gallery that told people to keep their voices down, because it was hard to hear my peers comment on the artwork and I had difficulty hearing the artist as well which was unfortunate. Otherwise, very small but nice space for independent studio artists looking to show their work. I enjoy seeing the different shows they put up.

Jennifer G. Thompson: I enjoyed my visit here and was pleasantly surprised to find a female artist exhibition. The interior of the building has been designed with good architecture in mind. The building is broken up into two main spaces that allows for video installations in the back.Newer technology was also used on a large flat screen for an additional video. This gallery has good natural light in the largest room. The gallery owner was in on Saturday evening. She was welcoming. This was my first visit and I would go back to view future exhibitions.

Bijoy Goswami (bijoy): A keystone of the ATX Art Scene!

Ken Clifford: It's a must stop for Creativity in Austin. The shows are always interesting with a wonderfully welcoming vibe.

jerome pelitera: Great show. Shame Won't be back till August.

Rebecca Cooper: Great space that showcases local artists covering a wide range of mediums. Makes for a great 30 minutes to an hour to soak in some awesome art.

Nicole Oakley: This gallery is simple and cute. I felt comfortable and I would definitely come back again.

J Olson: Beautiful space located inside an unassuming home. Jill was very knowledgeable on the art. Great collection of working artists.

David Andrae: Great space with interesting exhibits in the heart of East Austin.

Benjamin “BK” Kenney: Love this place! Super friendly staff and cute place. Very warm and welcoming, art is even cooler!

Janet MacDonald: , the DUCK has us covered. After viewing the art once, quietly slip through the glass side doors for a vivid contrast of Nature, Quiet, open sky, huge pecan tree, places to sit. After a few minutes recharging you might go in and be drawn back to that one piece.

Joshua Stevens: Came here for a Happy Hour by the Brazilian State of São Paulo. Great event and great venue!

Robert Cooper: Nice museum space... closed for UT home games

Nick Scalan: Great college

Pedro Goncalves: I love walking around the streets in Austin and that promenade usually takes me to the Visual Arts Center. I must say every time I go in I'm like a kid at a candy store. There is always something new to see and explore and the staff really let you enjoy the art work in peace but are there if you have any questions. I admit some pieces I look at them two, three times before admitting my artistic eye needs help deciphering the artist's goal. But that's art!It really does stand a cultural hub for all in Texas and visitors. Also, it's free so how can you say no to that! Thanks!

Eliza Thomas: This was amazing!!! The vibe was on point and the staff was so nice. Would highly recommend.

Amber Freeman: Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes Price for adult entry $31+

Concerned Citizen: Absolutely loved it. I would love to see other artists in this format, like Dali or Giger.

Dan Vardell: Thr highlight is an immersive art exhibit with a wide variety of VG's pieces displayed on walls and floor. Some portions are animated in various ways which adds a depth and life. It's all very well done. I'm not clear they made the best choices for quality of projectors and screens but if you sit back and just take it all in, the lack of detail won't bother you much.

William Campbell: The set up to this installation was quite impressive and the mash up of art and technology was cool but, For the price of entry it felt a little lacking. Beautiful but very short experience

Fabiola Batres: I loved!!
